Featuring Deadmau5 and Gerard Way
A set of UFC shirts promoting the upcoming deadmau5 music video have been released, and their designs are reminiscent of the video in both design and concept. First, we revealed the video’s promotional posters, which feature deadmau5 himself, collaborator Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance, and the “Griefers” that are featured in the video. These clever UFC shirts feature those same images, transferred onto a fun, casual t-shirt format. The video, called “Professional Griefers,” features deadmau5 and Gerard Way competing in a post-apocalyptic battle inside the Octagon by using CGI mau5 robots to fight. Be sure to pick up a tee or two while we patiently wait for the video’s August 29th release date, and spread the hype about this creative musical concept.

Music and UFC go very well walkout music being preformed live would probably be so motivating for a lot of the fighters
What performance would you like to see be preformed while a fighter walks out? and with what fighter?
I am really perplexed by UFC aligning with these particular musicians. In previous press conferences Dana has brushed off the idea of involving UFC with music (a fan had asked if UFC had ever considered having live bands at fights). Dana said musical tastes were so diverse that he didn’t see it working. Traditionally UFC has used metal and/or hard rock bands in their promo openers and maybe I’m showing my age here, but really ? These guys? I know there is bond to be some appeal to a younger audience but bleh… it really leaves me wanting. The shirts themselves are kind of boring slap-an-image-in-the-middle stuff. Nothing really cool about the design.
